Why Are Valuations Needed?

Valuation Basics

A property valuation is an assessment of your property’s value, based on the location, condition and multiple other factors. Your valuation will be carried out in person by an RICS Qualified Surveyor who will be VRS Registered. The surveyor will take notes and photographs, and then send you a valuation report.

A valuation report is usually needed for probate, help to buy, to help sell your property or when buying a property. It is also needed for shared ownership and lease extension. There are many reasons why a valuation is needed.
